About Me

I am an editor and creative working across theatre and the written word.

My practice explores narrative through structure, rhythm, and language, and how stories shift between page and performance. I am interested in the moment where text becomes something more than text: spoken, embodied, interrupted, or reassembled through collaboration.

Practice

My work moves between editing, theatre, and writing.

Editor
I work primarily in academic publishing, focusing on narrative structure, clarity, and coherence — how a text holds together, where it tightens, and where it begins to break.

Theatre
I work with text as a living material, often in collaborative or devised contexts where meaning develops through process, performance, and exchange.

Writer
I work with essays, poetry, and translation, with an interest in language as both form and memory.

Approach

My work is informed by literature, performance, and cultural narrative, with a focus on voice, translation, and structure.

I think of editing not only as refinement, but as construction — a way of building narrative clarity across different forms.

Working Interests

  • narrative editing and story development

  • theatre and performance-based projects

  • text-led and devised work

  • writing and translation

  • interdisciplinary storytelling

Research Interests

  • trauma and memory

  • South Asian ethnography and historiography

  • postcolonial literary and cultural studies

  • Bengali and South Asian storytelling traditions

I am interested in how stories are built — and how they change when they are spoken, performed, or rewritten through collaboration.
